We have designed exciting and highly emotional experiences resulting from the fusion of music instruments and mobile phones, based on the concept of “Musical Mobile Phones / Instruments You Can Carry.” We are introducing a new passion for the mobile phone, making each and every use even more enjoyable. It is that spirit of play that our prototypes capture best.
Yamaha Product Design Laboratory
The Yamaha Product Design Laboratory employs 29 in-house designers (included 6 international members) who create designs for Yamaha’s complete lineup of products, spanning a range that covers traditional acoustic instruments as well as advanced digital ones, and extends to audio equipment and sporting goods. They held an exhibition at Milan’s “Milano Salone” and participated in other overseas design events, and are working to transmit their design philosophy beyond the boundaries of their company.
