iida AWARD

ABOUT THE AWARD

Innovative initiatives from iida are breathing new life into the domestic and international mobile telephone design markets. Our mission is to discover fresh talent unfettered by the common wisdom and established practices and work with these designers to bring exceptional value to products.

For the first "iida AWARD," we asked undergraduate and graduate-level students in Japanese and international universities to submit ideas for "LIFESTYLE PRODUCTS.

Students who pass the screening participate in workshops for a period of up to one year before unveiling their final products. We are looking forward to seeing the creative and fun design that the applicants bring to the task through their ability to see beyond ordinary, everyday concepts.

We are pleased to announce the final decision on the first awards. Many wonderful and innovative ideas were submitted. We’d like to thank all of you who participated.
